The opportunity:
We are seeking an International Supply Chain – Support Coordinator to support our International Department through a broad range of administrative, customer service, and operational activities in Bromley.
The role will be responsible for assisting the International Department with a wide scope of supporting tasks. The role will ensure all customers receive a high level of service at all times and that the International customer service team are fully supported at all times.
Focusing on process improvements, efficiencies and assisting with generation and maintenance of departmental reporting & metrics.
What does success look like in the role? (Not limited to)
- Assist with international inventory planning, collaborating with Planning Teams to ensure weekly production schedules are in line with business needs, operating in an efficient and timely manner.
- Analyse, optimize and enhance existing business processes to achieve better efficiency, Effectiveness, minimizing costs & ensuring best practice. Including departmental reporting.
- Assist International Supply Chain within packaging change control process, collaborating with the wider change control team.
- Working with commercial teams, be responsible for new account creation and maintenance of departmental master data.
- Assist with processing & authorization of freight invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment & capturing savings.
- Work closely with International Account Managers to ensure alignment of customer expectations.
What will you bring to the role?
- The successful applicant will possess GCSE Math’s & English or equivalent (Grade C or above), previous experience of office administration, customer service and liaising with colleagues and team members at all levels within the workplace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, a high level of numeracy, excellent communication and organizational skills are other essential criteria for this position.
- Experience of working within the FMCG sector, report generation, ERP systems and/or HR related duties would be advantageous.
