The opportunity:

The Release & Stock Quality Specialist plays a key role in ensuring products are released in line with quality and food safety standards, while maintaining accurate stock control across butter, powders and food ingredients. The role involves reviewing quality compliance, managing stock allocation and availability, coordinating with customers, warehouses and internal teams, and providing visibility of inventory to support sales and customer requirements. The position also promotes continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and compliance with health and safety standards.
 

What does success look like?

• Review product analysis from QC and CCP/ OPRP compliance for final product clearance and Release for all products manufactured in Food Ingredients.

• Allocation of stock to orders in a First-Produced-First-Out basis, and liaising closely with 3rd party warehousing.

• Quality releasing butter for Food Service on protean and communicating with the Care team in Pritchitts and the external warehouses regarding butter availability and the suitability of stock for order requirements. • Completing all Powder & Butter COA’s and issuing as per customer requirements.

• Inventory (stock) control and working closely with Sales Account Managers regarding stock availability. Tracking of stock, details and quantities of butter and powder grades for sale.

• Tracking of IF production for Key customers. Allocation of stock to IF and liaise with IF customers, 3rd party warehouse and Lakeland team. • Working closely with Customer Services and Logistics regarding IF stock movements.

 • Accruing stock data/ position for the Sales meetings and ensuring visibility on stock.

• Any additional duties relevant that improves the efficiency of the stock quality control. 

• To take reasonable care for the Health and Safety of you and others.

• Other duties that may be assigned from time to time in line with your role as Release & Stock Quality Specialist
