The opportunity:
What does success look like?
- To carry out engineering work in a safe manner, adhering to site procedures.
- To focus on critical plant and address root cause of repetitive failures.
- To provide change/breakdown support for the production floor.
- To participate fully as a team member, receiving direction from the Maintenance Co Ordinator.
- To take reasonable care for Health & Safety of you and others.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations in area of responsibility.
- To identify all unsafe equipment and practices.
- To progress preventative and corrective/improvement maintenance work efficiently.
- To communicate effectively with the engineering team and ensure faults and actions are logged accurately in required format.
- To share knowledge and experience and participate in project teams.
- To deliver coaching/training as and when required.
- To be flexible with the areas on site that you work in and prioritise in order to support business goals.
- To develop diversity of skills and knowledge of the whole plant.
- To arrange and utilise machine outages to complete preventative and corrective/improvement maintenance.
- To be willing to undertake areas of specialism or expertise as directed by the Maintenance Co-Ordinator.
- Develop own performance by completing relevant learning and development activities.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of self and others, ensuring compliance with safety regulations in area of responsibility, in line with all relevant Health and Safety legislation.
- Ensure compliance with standards and procedures to achieve accreditation and ongoing compliance certification.
- Responsible for own compliance with the Company’s Data Protection Policy and Data Retention Process. Must ensure that personal data is kept secure and processed in a lawful manner and that all activities relating to the handling and processing of ordinary personal data, and special category data, comply with Data Protection legislation.

What you will need to succeed:
- A willingness to learn
- Aptitude for how machines work
- Basic IT skills and ability to use SAP or similar systems.
