Maintenance Technician

The opportunity:
The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment and plant machinery. This position is responsible for carrying out preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maximise operational performance.
What does success look like? (Not limited to)
- Carry out preventative, corrective, and improvement maintenance to maximise equipment availability and performance.
- Diagnose faults and perform effective troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
- On time and efficient implementation of engineering/maintenance work.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide change/breakdown support for the production floor.
- Accurately record maintenance activities using CMMS.
- Adhere to site safety, quality, GMP, environmental and regulatory procedures.

What you will need to succeed:
- A relevant mechanical qualification is required
- Previous experience within a manufacturing operation would be an advantage
- Strong Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
- Experience using CMMS systems to manage assets, maintenance plans and performance would be desirable.
