The Group’s Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.

The Role

As our Health & Safety Manager (Multi‑Site), the successful applicant will be the driving force behind a safer, smarter, and more aligned working environment across our Bailieboro and Lough Egish operations. Partnering closely with local leadership teams, our H&S Manager will champion the consistent application of Lakeland Dairies’ Health & Safety standards, ensuring full statutory compliance, and lead the charge in building a culture of continuous improvement. Operating across both sites, you’ll bring cohesion, capability, and clear direction—working hand‑in‑hand with site leaders and H&S Business Partners to embed safe systems of work that protect people and elevate performance.

      Key responsibilities will include (Not limited to):

  • Provide multi-site leadership for Health & Safety across Bailieboro and Lough Egish, ensuring consistency in standards, approach and execution.
  • Report to the Head of Site Operations with functional alignment to Group Health & Safety.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety and Welfare legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and oversee site level Health & Safety risk assessments, audits, inspections and improvement plans.
  • Review and analyse Health & Safety performance metrics across both sites, identifying trends and areas for intervention. Ensure company H+S KPI reporting requirements are adhered to.
  • Oversee investigations into serious incidents, accidents and near misses, provide coaching and support to the site teams with the investigation process and ensure root cause analysis and preventative actions are implemented.
  • Partner with Site Leadership Teams to embed Health & Safety into operational decision making, change initiatives and capital projects.
  • Provide coaching, guidance and oversight to Health & Safety Business Partners, supporting capability development and consistent practice.

Who are we looking for?

Bringing substantial leadership experience within the fast‑paced FMCG/food sector, the successful candidate will be a proven Health & Safety professional with deep expertise in Irish HSA standards and relevant legislation. A results‑driven operator with the confidence to lead in a high‑performance environment, backed by exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management capability.

Their background will include hands‑on experience managing audits, leading investigations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that raise standards across complex operations. Candidates will hold a third‑level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or a closely related discipline, bringing both technical credibility and practical insight for the role.
