The opportunity:
Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited (The Group) is the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland. The business is complex and ambitious with a milk supply pool of 2 billion litres of milk, drawn from over 3,200 family farms across 16 counties.
Lakeland Dairies is seeking an Dryer Operator to join our team at our Bailieborough site in Co. Cavan. We are seeking a reliable and hands‑on Dryer operator to support the smooth and efficient running of our evaporation and spray drying operations. This role involves working a 12-hour rotating shift, working as part of the production team, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and acting as the first point of contact for any maintenance or process issues.
What does success look like? (Not limited to)
- Ensure production procedures and plans are followed.
- Monitor production changes and ensure SAP tasks are completed.
- Report breakdowns promptly and escalate to maintenance when required.
- Complete all CCP/OPRP checks and maintain records to a high standard.
- Support and guide team members; provide training to new staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, audit‑ready work environment.
- Comply with SOPs, food safety standards, Health & Safety requirements, and Data Protection policies.
- What you will need to succeed:
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
