The opportunity:

As a Butter Dispatch Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our butter products are accurately stored, managed and dispatched to customers on time. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will coordinate stock movements, maintain dispatch records, and support the efficient operation of the supply chain while upholding the highest standards of quality and food safety.

What does success look like?

 

 

  • Adhere to and follow the Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) for your area at all times.
  • Prior to loading, all refrigerated containers must be inspected.Ensure all pallets are despatched on SAP system.
  • Ensure that stock is dispatched in accordance with the sell-by date or as otherwise agreed.
  • Ensure that all SAP delivery notes and records are accurate and kept to a high standard.
  • Load stock from the cold store into containers with caution to avoid damage.
  • Liaise with hauliers and deal and follow up on any queries raised, including dealing with lorry drivers & haulage companies by phone, email in relation to queries relating to cold stores, paperwork queries, deliveries, stock queries & SAP queries.
  • Report any damaged boxes to relevant personnel.
  • Ensure your work area is kept clean and tidy and audit ready at all times.
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines and customer standards at all times.
  • Report any issues with plant and machines to relevant personnel.
  • Responsible for own compliance with the Company’s Data Protection Policy and Data Retention Process. Must ensure that personal data is kept secure and processed in a lawful manner and that all activities relating to the handling and processing of ordinary personal data, and special category data, comply with Data Protection legislation.
  • Logistics and loading, taking queries from internal team members and other departments such as Transport and Milk planning in relation to stock and storage.
  • Liasing with cold stores, including load planning, storage queries daily to find suitable solutions for cold storage as required.
  • To take reasonable care of the health and safety of self and others, ensuring compliance with safety regulations in area of responsibility, in line with all relevant Health & Safety legislation.
  • To develop own performance by completing relevant learning and development activities.
